Really enjoyed last nights gig, well worth the trip from Stamford. I first heard GHA last Dec during Steve Lamaq's late show on radio 2, I instantly thought 2 things, get their album and see em live. Done both now, the music really does float my boat, It's a great sound bits of Fleet Foxes, Band of Horses, Johnny Cash.
And the new stuff ,first listen, blew me away, the guys have most definitely kicked on, really can't wait for the new album.
This weekend was a choice of seeing GHA or Richard Hawley, we chose wisely.
I'm sure the 2nd record will be a success and will be looking forward to seeing GHA on their very own tour.
The steam museum was great too, as we're the hosts.
